BY VIRTUE OF POWERS vested in me, I, SIR ANDREW
CALDECOTT, Knight Bachelor, Companion of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents appoint you WILLIAM HENRY BELL provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive
Council in the place of the Honourable Sir Henry Edward
Pollock, Kt., K.C., LL.D., who is temporarily absent from
the Colony.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony, at Government House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this
8th day of June, 1936.
